Since its establishment in 1985 Victoria, Australia, Crossroads International Bible College has played a role in equipping Christians and developing and nurturing ministers for Christian ministry training. Although similar to numerous Bible colleges, it does not possess accreditation and does not actively pursue recognition from national accrediting agencies. Nonetheless, individuals pursuing personal development or seeking ministry training find value in the courses offered by Crossroads International Bible College. Many Churches, Denominations, and Mission organisations acknowledge and accept qualifications from Crossroads International Bible College as valid credentials for ministry endeavours.

Crossroads International Bible College is part of the Full Gospel International Church, an independent Denomination affiliated with the worldwide, World Evangelism Fellowship which has thousands of affiliated Churches.
