AFFILIATE CONDITIONS, TERMS OF USE AND PRIVACY AGREEMENT

Welcome and Purpose

Welcome to this website, designed for prospective Affiliate Bible Schools, Colleges, Ministries, Churches, Pastors and leaders.

By applying to become an Affiliate Member, and by signing this Affiliate Agreement, the applicant acknowledges and accepts these Affiliate Conditions, including Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and the Statement of Beliefs of Crossroads International Bible College.

Affiliate approval is not automatic. Each application will be reviewed by Crossroads International Bible College according to ministry purpose, doctrinal agreement, and the level of study being requested.

Once an application is approved by the College, the Affiliate will be granted access to the College resources approved for that Affiliate level.

Affiliate Levels and Partnership Options

Crossroads International Bible College recognises different levels of Affiliate relationship. Each Affiliate is approved according to their ministry purpose, and the level of study they are authorised to undertake.

This structure allows churches and ministries to partner with the College in a way that is suitable to their training needs.

Affiliate Level 1 - Resource Affiliate

A Resource Affiliate is approved to access and utilise selected Bible teaching resources provided by Crossroads International Bible College.

This may include access to the available teaching booklets, Level 1 studies, and the Foundation Teaching Course, as approved by the College.

This level is suitable for churches, ministries, Pastors, leaders and Bible study groups that desire solid Biblical teaching material for local church training, foundational Christian instruction, and the spiritual strengthening of Believers.

Resource Affiliates may use approved materials for discipleship, group teaching, personal study, and local church instruction.

A Resource Affiliate is not automatically approved to offer the full Bible College curriculum, or the Advanced Diploma option, without further written approval being granted by Crossroads International Bible College. A Resource Affiliate is also not authorised to alter, or restructure in any way, official College study material.

Affiliate Level 2 - Special Approval Affiliate

A Special Approval Affiliate is approved to offer selected courses, as specifically authorised by Crossroads International Bible College.

This level allows the College to approve a church, ministry or training group to use a particular part of the curriculum for training purposes.

A Special Approval Affiliate may be approved for one or more selected levels of study, but is not automatically authorised to offer the complete Bible College curriculum. A Special Approval Affiliate must use any approved study material only in the official format supplied by the College.

This level provides flexibility where a ministry may be well suited to offer certain studies, but not yet approved or equipped to operate as a Full College Affiliate.

Affiliate Level 3 - Full College Affiliate

A Full College Affiliate is approved to offer the full Crossroads International Bible College curriculum, subject to College requirements and ongoing oversight. This approval authorises delivery and supervision of the curriculum. It does not authorise the Affiliate to change, expand, restructure, or doctrinally modify any part of the official College curriculum.

This approval includes access to all approved teaching resources included in the Advanced Diploma course.

This level is suitable for churches and ministries who are doctrinally aligned with Crossroads International Bible College, and are able to provide appropriate oversight and student support.

Full College Affiliates operate according to the requirements, standards, and ongoing oversight of Crossroads International Bible College.

Approved Access and Use of College Resources

As a Registered Affiliate, the organisation may be given access to the Crossroads International Bible College Google Drive Library. Access will be organised under the registered Affiliate name and will be limited to the resources approved for that Affiliate level.

The Affiliate agrees not to copy, distribute, alter, or claim any College material as their own.

Affiliates may develop their own local ministry framework, teaching schedule, and Pastoral support, provided that all usage of Crossroads material remains within the level of approval granted by the College, and that the official College curriculum is not altered or doctrinally modified in any way.

Protection of Official College Curriculum

The official curriculum of Crossroads International Bible College includes the Foundation Teaching Studies, Series One, Series Two, Series Three, Level 1 studies, assessment questions, student declarations, and any other study material issued by the College as official curriculum.

No Affiliate is permitted to alter, or doctrinally modify any aspect of the official College curriculum.

Affiliates may provide local teaching support, Pastoral guidance, discussion sessions, or supplementary notes to help students understand the material, provided that such support does not alter, or reinterpret the official curriculum.

Where students are completing studies for a certificate issued by Crossroads International Bible College, all study requirements and curriculum standards must be adhered to in accordance with official College instructions.

Two Steps to Register as an Affiliate

1. Download and review the Affiliate Conditions PDF or current Affiliate Agreement.

2. Sign up using the link provided on the Sign-Up Page, then return the signed Affiliate Agreement to the College.

Once we receive the signed form, including the name of the Affiliate Bible College, School, Church or Ministry, the College will review the application. If approved, a Certificate of Registration will be issued showing the Affiliate name and the approved Affiliate level.

The Affiliate Agreement must be signed by the authorised Head of the organisation, including their title, and must also include the email address to be used for all official correspondence.

Crossroads and Affiliate Partnership

Some Affiliates may request that Crossroads International Bible College issue official certificates to their students.

Certificates issued by Crossroads International Bible College will only be available where the Affiliate is approved for the relevant study level and where all student assessment and recordkeeping requirements have been fulfilled.

Student assessments, including multiple-choice quizzes and exams, must be conducted according to the academic standards and guidelines established by the College. All exams must be administered in accordance with Crossroads instructions in order to maintain academic integrity.

Upon successful completion of an approved course, students may receive an official certificate issued by Crossroads International Bible College on behalf of, or in partnership with, the Affiliate, according to the designated arrangement.

Certificates, Student Records and Study Pathways

Resource Affiliates are not automatically authorised to request official certificates from the College unless the College has specifically approved the relevant course for certification.

Special Approval Affiliates may request certificates for the specific courses that have been approved in writing by the College.

Full College Affiliates may request certificates for approved College studies, including the Foundation Teaching Course, the Foundation Teaching Studies, Series One, Series Two, Series Three, certificate pathways, higher-level studies, and the Advanced Diploma, provided that the official curriculum has been adhered to and assessments have been undertaken as designated by the College.

Affiliates are responsible for maintaining accurate records of student enrolment, assessment completion, emails, scores, final percentages, dates of completion, and any other information required by the College for certification purposes

Student results may be submitted through the College tracking system or manually emailed to the College registry as authorised by the College.

Important Note for Student Assessments

In line with our study guidelines, the following disclaimer is clearly displayed before students answer any questions:

"We understand that not everyone participating in the studies will agree with every aspect of what is taught. However, each set of questions clearly indicates that students are expected to answer based on the material presented in the Study Units."

Affiliates must not encourage students to answer according to private opinion, denominational preference, or external teaching sources when the assessment requires answers to be based on the Crossroads study material.

Affiliates must not edit questions, adjust expected answers, remove required study sections, reduce study requirements, or change student declarations for any official College course–unless written approval is granted by Crossroads International Bible College.

Affiliate Agreement for Churches, Colleges, Schools, Ministries and Training Groups

When approved by the College, this Affiliate Agreement is entered into between Crossroads International Bible College ("the College") and the registered Affiliate Member ("the Affiliate").

This Agreement sets forth the terms and conditions under which applicants may become Affiliates of Crossroads International Bible College, in order to access and benefit from the programs, resources and curriculum of the College.

1. Definitions

a. "Affiliate" refers to the church, college, school, ministry, Christian training group, or other approved organisation entering into this Agreement to support, access or use the programs offered by Crossroads International Bible College.

b. "The College" refers to Crossroads International Bible College, which provides the educational programs, resources, curriculum and certificates.

c. "Programs" refers to the courses, resources, booklets, official curriculum, and any other related educational material provided by Crossroads International Bible College.

d. "Approved Affiliate Level" refers to the level of access and authorisation granted by the College to the Affiliate, namely Affiliate Level 1 - Resource Affiliate, Affiliate Level 2 - Special Approval Affiliate, or Affiliate Level 3 - Full College Affiliate.

2. Affiliate Promotion and Support

a. Crossroads International Bible College grants the Affiliate a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to promote and support its approved programs within its community and network.

b. The Affiliate shall not make any false or misleading representations regarding the programs, the approved Affiliate level, the certificates, or Crossroads International Bible College itself.

c. The Affiliate shall not represent itself as a Full College Affiliate unless that status has been approved in writing by Crossroads International Bible College.

3. Statement of Beliefs

a. The Affiliate acknowledges and agrees to uphold the Statement of Beliefs set forth by Crossroads International Bible College, a statement which outlines the theological, doctrinal and ethical principles which guide the College mission.

b. The Affiliate shall conduct its activities in a manner consistent with the Statement of Beliefs and shall not engage in any actions that contradict or undermine the principles outlined therein.

c. Continued Affiliate approval is dependent upon ongoing doctrinal alignment, faithful representation of the College materials, and conduct consistent with Biblical integrity and Christian witness.

4. Compensation and Financial Support

a. The Affiliate participation in the Affiliate program is voluntary and does not involve monetary compensation unless a separate written agreement has been made in this regard.

b. Crossroads International Bible College may provide non-monetary benefits to the Affiliate, including access to approved resources, training materials, or other agreed-upon arrangements.

c. Any specific benefits, incentives, grants, or financial support that may be provided to the Affiliate must be outlined in a separate written agreement by the College.

d. To help ensure compliance with Australian not-for-profit requirements, Affiliates may be required to register with the College and be included in the Registry of Affiliates before any financial support can be considered, either now or in the future.

5. Intellectual Property

a. Crossroads International Bible College retains all intellectual property rights to its programs, including, but not limited to, copyrights, trademarks, logos, course materials, written studies, assessments, certificates and related resources.

b. The Affiliate shall not use Crossroads International Bible College trademarks, logos, certificates, copyrighted materials, or curriculum resources outside the approved Affiliate level without prior written permission.

c. The Affiliate shall not sell, commercially reproduce, alter, publish online, or distribute College resources beyond the approved ministry usage of such without written permission from the College.

d. If translation or adaptation of materials is required, the Affiliate must receive written approval from the College before translating, adapting, or distributing those materials.

e. The Affiliate shall not alter, translate, or doctrinally modify the Foundation Teaching Studies, Series One, Series Two, Series Three, Level 1 studies, assessment questions, or any other aspect of the College curriculum.

f. Permission to access or teach a course does not include permission to change the content, or the doctrinal emphasis of that course.

g. Any approved translation, adaptation, formatting change, or administrative correction must remain faithful to the original College material and may be reviewed, or withdrawn by the College at its discretion.

6. Certificates and Representation

a. The Affiliate shall not issue certificates in the name of Crossroads International Bible College unless authorised by the College to do so.

b. The Affiliate shall not promise students any certification or level of recognition that has not been approved for that Affiliate level.

​

7. Student Assessments and Academic Integrity

a. All assessments connected to Crossroads certificates must be completed according to College instructions, academic standards, and approved processes.

b. Affiliates must not alter assessment questions, change expected answers, remove required questions, provide answers to students in advance, complete assessments on behalf of students, or permit any practice that undermines the academic integrity of the College.

c. Where a course belongs to the official Crossroads curriculum, student assessment must be based on the official study material supplied by the College, not on an Affiliate's revised or expanded version of the material.

d. Students must use one identifiable email address or approved identifier for College tracking, certification, and recordkeeping where required.

8. Privacy, Student Information and Records

a. Affiliates must handle student information responsibly and only collect, or share student information as required for legitimate study, administration, recordkeeping, and certification purposes.

b. Affiliates must not disclose student information to unauthorised parties and must take reasonable care to protect student records, results and personal information.

c. By submitting student records to Crossroads International Bible College, the Affiliate confirms that the information has been collected for legitimate educational and administrative purposes, and may be used by the College for student tracking, certification, records, and communication related to the studies.

9. Termination, Suspension or Change of Affiliate Level

a. Either party may terminate this Agreement with written notice given to the other party.

b. Crossroads International Bible College may suspend, change, or terminate an Affiliate level where there is doctrinal concern, misuse or unauthorised alteration of materials, administrative failure, a breach of academic integrity, failure to protect student records, or any conduct that may damage the integrity, standards, name or witness of the College.

c. Upon termination or suspension of Affiliate approval, the Affiliate shall cease all support activities related to any College programs, resources or certificates for which approval has been withdrawn.

d. Upon termination, the Affiliate shall cease the use of College trademarks, logos, certificates, restricted materials, and any College resources no longer approved for its usage.

10. Confidentiality

a. The Affiliate shall treat all non-public information received from Crossroads International Bible College as confidential and shall not disclose it to any third party without the prior written consent of Crossroads International Bible College.

b. The obligations of confidentiality shall survive the termination of this Agreement.

11. Independent Relationship

a. This Agreement does not create an employment relationship, legal partnership, agency relationship, franchise, or joint venture between Crossroads International Bible College and the Affiliate.

b. The Affiliate acts independently and is solely responsible for any taxes, insurance, employment obligations, government requirements, and other obligations arising from their activities under this Agreement.

c. The Affiliate is responsible for ensuring that its own local operations, finances, and administration are lawful, ethical, and appropriately governed in its own region.

12. Acceptance of Agreement

By signing this Affiliate Agreement, the authorised representative of the Affiliate acknowledges that they have read and understood this Agreement, agree to be bound by its terms and conditions, and affirm their commitment to uphold the Statement of Beliefs set forth by Crossroads International Bible College.

The authorised representative also acknowledges that the Affiliate will operate only within the Affiliate level approved by Crossroads International Bible College and will not represent itself as having authority, certification rights, or permission to alter any official College material.

 

STATEMENT OF BELIEFS

​We hold to the same statement of beliefs as the Australian Christian Churches (A.C.C.).

"The Holy Scriptures, known as the Bible, is the inspired Word of God and our all-sufficient rule for faith and practice. These articles of faith of the Australian Christian Churches (formerly Assemblies of God in Australia), grounded in these scriptures, are given as a basis for belief, fellowship and ministry “that we all preach the same thing” (1 Corinthians 1:10). Let it be remembered, however, that this is not given as a summary of the complete revelation of biblical truth, only that it covers our present needs as to these fundamental doctrines."

​CROSSROADS COLLEGE STATEMENT OF BELIEFS is as follows:

​

THE ETERNAL GODHEAD.

​We believe in God, who is eternal and self-existent, revealed as one being in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and the creator of all things.

​

THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.

We believe in Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, who was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, ministering in teaching, healing, and miracles. He was crucified and died on our behalf. He rose from the dead and ascended into heaven, where He is now seated and exalted at the right hand of the Father as the risen Lord and intercessor.

THE HOLY SPIRIT.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, fully divine, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. He convicts, regenerates and sanctifies, and guides believers into all truth.

​

THE HOLY BIBLE.

We believe that the Bible is the inerrant, inspired, and infallible Word of God and our highest authority for faith and practice.

​

CREATION.

We believe that God created the universe and that all people are created in the image of God, to love and worship God.

​

THE DEVIL.

We believe in the existence and person of the devil, who actively opposes the purposes of God.

​

THE FALL OF HUMANITY.

We believe that all people have rejected God through their sinful acts and are separated from God.

​

THE ATONEMENT.

We believe that salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone who, by His suffering, shed blood, death on the cross, and resurrection, has made full atonement for the sins of all people. We receive salvation by grace through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.

​

THE CHURCH.

We believe that the Church, the body of Christ, is the community of people who confess faith in Jesus Christ. While universal, the church is local in expression and witness. It exists for worship, fellowship, evangelism, discipleship, and mission. Gifts of ministry are given by Christ to strengthen and mature the church.

​

WATER BAPTISM.

We believe in water baptism by single immersion in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is a public declaration of a person's faith in, and identification with, the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

​

THE LORD'S SUPPER.

We believe in the Lord's Supper, which is in symbolic remembrance of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ until He returns.

​

SANCTIFICATION.

We believe in the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit, who convicts people of their sin and inspires repentance and faith. The Holy Spirit transforms believers into the likeness of Jesus Christ.

​

THE BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT.

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, which is a transformative experience, distinct from and subsequent to salvation. It is available to all believers and accompanied by the initial evidence of speaking in tongues. It results in empowerment for effective witness to the world.

​

GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

We believe that the Holy Spirit imparts spiritual gifts to believers for ministry to one another, the Church, and the world.

​

DIVINE HEALING.

We believe that God heals today through the atoning work of Jesus Christ. By praying in faith for healing and miracles, we bear witness to and continue the ministry of Jesus Christ.

​

THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST.

We believe in, and look forward to, the imminent and personal return of Jesus Christ to gather his people to Himself and to judge the living and the dead. His kingdom will have no end.

​

THE PUNISHMENT OF THE WICKED.

We believe in the resurrection of the body. All who believe in Jesus Christ will have everlasting life in the presence of God; those who reject Him will have eternal separation from God. It is the call of all believers to proclaim the message of Jesus Christ until He returns.
